Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native born under very low standards on the 16th of September, 1958. Her father worked as a salesman and her mother was a school teacher. Jennifer, the second of the four children in her family was often with her mom to performances in the theater and was very impressed with her. Jennifer's parents divorced after she turned five. Jennifer lived the majority of her youth in British Columbia when her mother was able to move there with four children. Jennifer wasn't a student, though as a youngster she was very artistic. Her time at Canadian schools led to her being frequently the victim of bullying. In the years that her interest in theatre waned, she began acting in shows to support her mother. She encouraged all her children to become passionate about the arts. She then immediately started acting.
