Sasha became transgender when she began her high school years. It was a difficult time however, Sasha believed that with the support of his family and the music he could handle anything. Jim and Sasha - both songwriters - were just recently forming an official band. Since then they've performed at various local events, such as open mics. The Voice coaches never discussed the background of Sasha, however Jim and Sasha shared their story in a clip that was played prior to their performance. Sasha started playing guitar when she was just six years old. They discussed their music tastes and told stories of the first time they met. He was able to learn the musical form faster since his father was a teacher. Sasha is a female-born youngster, was having a hard in establishing his own identity. In an Instagram post posted recently, Sasha opened up about the difficulties he faced. Meanwhile, Jim overcame with emotion as he explained his reasons for not being a participant in those difficult circumstances. Sasha Allen was born as female. Sasha Allen turns 19 in 2021. When Sasha was a freshman in the high school system, he announced as trans and began transitioning into a male. Sasha said in his Instagram, "I am the third transgender person to be featured on the show and I'm excited to represent transgender people on such a large platform."
